If you have a problem with an inkjet printer not printing with a compatible ink cartridge you may have the following fault.
This problem is easy to diagnose and fix.
First inspect the area where you have removed the yellow vent seal tape. If you haven’t removed the vent seal tape, that will stop air getting into the cartridge to allow ink to flow into the printer.
You may find the yellow tape has left behind some of the clear backing and that will be block the vent.
The fix is as easy as removing the clear film so the vent can breathe. This can be done be picking at the clear film or stabbing /poking a hole in it.
NOTE: DO NOT REMOVE the clear film found on the nozzle of the cartridge (removing that one could result in a messy ink spill).
