DR2315 Drum Reset

To reset the DR2315 drum counter on your HLL2300, HLL2340, HLL2365 and HLL2380 series printer:

1. With the printer on, open the front cover.
2. Press and hold the OK button for 2 – 4 seconds to display ” DRUM UNIT ” on LED screen.
3. Press “Up” or “Down” arrow key to select “RESET” option and press “OK”.

Your drum counter should now be reset.

To reset the DR2315 drum counter on your MFC L2700DW, MFC L2720DW or MFC L2740DW series printer:

1. With the printer on, open the front cover.
2. Press and hold the OK button for two seconds.
3. If necessary press the UP arrow button until you see on the screen Replace Drum? 1. yes  2. No
4. Press the 1 button to reset the drum counter.
5. Drum should now have a Parts Life of 100%. Close the front cover and the drum warning should be gone.

Note: This should get you printing again. If you have not replaced the drum your printing will drop in quality as the drum wears down. You’ll still need to replace the drum at some stage. REMEMBER to always reset the counter when you fit a replacement drum unit.
